Andy Banks

Head of Corporate Governance

Andy Banks is the head of Corporate Governance and has responsibility for monitoring and developing L&G's Corporate Governance policy.  He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a member of the Securities Institute, the Corporate Governance Forum and the ABI's investment committee. He joined Legal & General in 1977 and transferred to LGIM in 1979.  He worked first within the actively managed UK Equity team, and then joined the index funds team in 2000, where he was responsible for the launch of the Ethical Trust in 1999 and managing the UK Ethical Funds.

 

Andy has a Masters degree from Oxford University and an MBA (including an environmental management specialisation) from Kingston University.

Angeli Benham

Corporate Governance Analyst

Angeli is the senior Corporate Governance Analyst within the Corporate Governance team.  Angeli joined LGIM in 2005 from the Association of British Insurers where she was a Corporate Governance Analyst for 5 years.  Prior to this she worked for Prudential as Corporate Finance Assistant for 3 years.

Angeli holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Financial Economics, the Legal Practise Certificate in Law, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law and the Investment Management Certificate.

David Patt

Corporate Governance Analyst

David joined the corporate governance team in September 2006, having spent six months at RREV (Research Recommendations and Electronic Voting).

David holds a BSc in Business Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Economics.
